Sand Moor Golf Club Annual President’s Day

Robert Thorp is the current president of the Sand Moor Golf Club in Leeds. On 23 July 2016 he hosted the annual President’s Day at the Club. Amongst the events on the day was a raffle in support of both the Leeds Community Trust and the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. Some of the biggest names in golf including Gary Player, Dame Laura Davies, Lee Westwood, Gary Norman and Phil Mickleson generously donated prizes to the event together with a number of the top golf courses in the north of England offering complimentary four balls. The event raised a fantastic £500 each for both the Leeds Community Trust and the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. A huge thanks from the Leeds Community Trust to Robert Thorp, Sand Moor Golf Club and for all those who donated prizes and bought tickets on the day.
