Grants

How to apply for a grant

The Trustees of the Leeds Community Trust meet on a regular basis to consider grant applications. All applications must be in writing from a third party care agency such as social services, health visitors, housing officers or other care agency organisation. The Trustees can not consider applications made by members of the public on their own behalf. In addition, the Trustees can only consider applications made on behalf of residents of the city of Leeds with an LS postcode. The written application must be on office headed paper and include the following information:

Full names and ages of everyone in the applicant household;
The applicant’s address;
The background circumstances of the applicant;
What help is requested.

The referrer should then follow up their written application 10-14 days after it is sent with a phone call to the Trust to ascertain whether the application has been successful.
